About Mi Coast

Mi Coast was built from a simple idea: to celebrate the character and beauty of Michigan’s coastlines.

After more than 25 years working in marketing and advertising—building brands for others—Mi Coast began as a way to build something personal.

From the beginning, the process has been hands-on. Small batch runs. Hand silkscreened pieces. A focus on creating products that feel considered, not mass produced.

What started as a side project quickly grew through direct connection—designing, making, and sharing work with people who have a similar connection to Michigan and the Great Lakes.

Mi Coast has evolved over time, but the foundation remains the same: a personal expression of craft, place, and experience.
